2011 The three of us leave for Kyoto together every morning.

The year 2011 was the year my son turned two. At that time, my husband and I were both working in Kyoto and my son was at a daycare center in Kyoto. So every morning, the three of us would head to Kyoto Station together with the stroller. I made a New Year’s card of those days.

The three of us left together from home and started our day at Kyoto Station, each of us taking a different route: husband to office, wife to tour guide, and son to nursery.

The Kyoto Tower is the symbol of Kyoto Station, and in honor of the year of the rabbit (2011), I decorated my son with rabbit ears.
