New Year Greetings

New Year’s Card Design (2016) My Growth in India (Rectification) – My Growth in India

This is the second year end for us in India. This year, I made a graph of the growth of each of my three family members during our two years in India, and made it into a New Year’s card. The title is “My Growth in India”.

My son (English): He has improved his English skills in an international (American) school where he is surrounded by English everyday. He has grown a lot from zero.

Wife (Bollywood Dance): My wife, who had always been a dance enthusiast, discovered Bollywood dance in India and practicing became the center of her life. She has also performed on stage.

Husband (Stomach(?)) I struggled with the Indian diet. In the second year, he got food poisoning from a local lunch and was hospitalized for four days on a business trip. I charted my “Stomach” instead of my “Growth”. (Although I struggled with food, my days in India were exciting and fulfilling.)

The title at the top, “Happy New Year 2016,” has the colors of the Indian flag (orange, white, and green) as its background. The local language below it is Hindi, the official language of India.

As well as the growth and changes in my family, the day-to-day changes in India itself have been dizzying. I want to go back to see how it changes.
