Board Game

New Year’s card design (2020) Our family’s year is summarized by keywords (code names) – Our CODE NAMES in 2020

This year, we used the board game “Codename,” which was invented in the Czech Republic, to express the various memories of each family member.

What is the board game “Codename”?

This is a game where you have to find all the agents by finding your team’s code name based on the boss’s hints among 25 code names (keywords) placed on the field. The game can be enjoyed by any number of players. The game can be played by any number of players, as long as there are four or more. The key to victory is the sense of the boss who gives clues and the teamwork to understand the boss’s ideas.

I won’t go into the details of the game here, but if you are interested, here is the link.

Each card has a generic business card with a “code name” written on it, and these are assigned to each team so that the players don’t know them. This year’s New Year’s card is our family’s version of these “code names”.

The blue (male agent) is Gakuo (husband), the red (female agent) is Aguko (wife), and the yellow (real photo of the person) is Kadota (son), and we have listed keywords that symbolize each year.

Since it is the year of the mouse, I put “M.Y. (Mouse Year)” at the bottom.
